Nova Scotia. The amazing and colourful autumn gave place to a bright and frosty winter.

4 month later I sat on a bus and starred out of the window into the snowy landscape of Quebec, an icy desert of frozen rivers and ground.

In late April at the powerful Niagara Falls I could feel the first warmth of the sun on my skin.

We were 5 in a van on our way to British Columbia, shared motel rooms, food, music and hours of laughter and good stories and got stuck in a snow storm in Vermillion Bay, Ontario.

In Saskatchewan the landscape changed into vast fields of yellow winter grass and from Alberta to BC we crossed impressive mountains, drove through rain and snow and bright sunlight. In Vancouver, British Columbia, 8000 km further, the magnolia was in full bloom and the air smelled like spring!

In a new old van, Jon and I started to explore the beautiful green coastline of Vancouver Island. We drove from the south to the north and from east to west and just loved our van life. By the start of summer we surprisingly moved to the Sunshine Coast, a place that we had not heard about before, found jobs and lived a sort of daily life.

Months have passed, I am far away and it´s winter again, but soon the journey will continue.

Life is awesome.
